The Government of Peru is now a Democracy after years of being a military based government. There are 25 regions in Peru and if you look at first blog there is a map showing all of these. There are also 180 provinces and 1747 districts of Peru.
There is a Presidential election every five years and election winners cannot run twice for office of President.
